Video: Avalanche Burakovsky Scores the Strangest Goal of the Season

Just when you thought you've seen it all, Colorado Avalanche forward Andre Burakovsky goes ahead and does the unthinkable during Game 4 of the team's first-round series vs. the Nashville Predators.

The game wasn't even two minutes old when the Avalanche winger regrouped himself in the Preds' zone and walked in to fire a laser wrister which had everyone in the building wondering what happened. Even the referee standing 10 feet from the net got the call wrong initially.

Turns out someone needs to fix the mesh in Nashville as this doesn't seem like the type of shot that could go right through the net. Perhaps it's an old net from the Shea Weber days?
