Video: Bruins Brad Marchand Delivers Two-Handed Slash to Hurricanes Goalie
The Boston Bruins don't know how to solve the Carolina Hurricanes. The 'Canes have owned the B's all season long and you can't blame the Bruins for being a touch frustrated to this point. Brad Marchand isn't shy to take out his frustration on others and Carolina's newest netminder found out all about it.
During the second period of Game 2, Hurricanes goalie Pyotr Kochetkov and Marchand exchanged blows, with Marchand delivering a feisty two-hander right across the blocker arm. It was a surprising moment in the game as Kochetkov didn't start the contest and came in once Hurricanes starter Antti Raanta left the game injured.
Kochetkov was the one to initiate the ordeal so expect to see his coaching staff have a chat with him because the third-string netminder can't be mixing it up when the other two goalies are both on the shelve hurt. The fans though? They loved every minute of this...
