Blue Jackets Forward Heading Overseas
The Columbus Blue Jackets are losing some of their forward depth, as Adam Helewka has signed with HC Innsbruck.
Helewka spent each of the last two seasons with the Blue Jackets' AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. In 62 games over that span, he scored nine goals and recorded 29 points.
Although Helewka never appeared in a game for the Blue Jackets, it is never the best feeling in the world for a team to lose their depth. Here's to hoping Adam puts together a great season in Austria.
