Capitals Sign Forward To Extension

The Washington Capitals are staying busy, as they now have signed Beck Malenstyn to a two-year contract extension.

Malenstyn played in a career-high 12 games this season with the Capitals, where he scored one goal and had a plus-2 rating. He also scored 10 goals and had six assists in 65 games with the Hershey Bears.

Malenstyn will continue to be a decent depth forward for the Capitals with this extension. It will be intriguing to see if he can cement himself a spot in their bottom six from here.
