Coyotes Goalie Done In Arizona
The Arizona Coyotes have lost one of their goaltenders, as Josef Korenar has signed a two-year deal with HC Sparta.
Korenar's tenure with the Coyotes is now over after just two NHL games. Yet, he looked fairly solid in them, as he made 32 saves on 35 shots. However, he struggled with the Tucson Roadrunners immensely. In 22 games for the AHL squad, he had a 4.46 GAA and .855 SV%.
With this signing, Korenar will now have the chance to play back home in the Czech Republic and have a more prominent role with that. In 10 career NHL games between the Sharks and Coyotes, the 24-year-old had a 3-5-0 record, 3.10 GAA, and .901 SV%.
