Ducks Sign Forward

The Anaheim Ducks have signed Pavol Regenda to a two-year, two-way contract. He will have a $855,000 cap hit.

Regenda just completed his second season in Slovakia with Michalovce Dukla HC. He certainly impressed during it, as the 6-foot-3 forward scored 15 goals and recorded 39 points. This was also following a 25-point campaign in 50 games last season.

With the Ducks in the middle of a rebuild, it makes sense that they are taking a chance on Regenda. It will be interesting to see if he can make Anaheim's bottom-six next season, but if not, expect him to have success with the San Diego Gulls.
