Kings Forward Finished In Los Angeles

Vladimir Tkachev's time with the Los Angeles Kings is over, as the 26-year-old has signed a one-year contract with Avangard Omsk of the KHL.

Tkachev signed a deal with the Kings last offseason. He appeared in four NHL games during it, where he recorded two assists and sported a minus-2 rating. He primarily played for the Ontario Reign, however. In 41 games with the AHL squad, he had 29 points.

Ultimately, seeing Tkachev head back to the KHL isn't too surprising. He didn't receive too many opportunities at the NHL level and likely wasn't going to with the Kings' rise in forward depth.
