Kraken Sign Forward Prospect
The Seattle Kraken have signed Ville Petman to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Although Petman went undrafted, he is now going to get his chance with the Kraken. After recording two points in 40 games with SaiPa of the Finnish Liiga last season, the 22-year-old broke out significantly this year. In 59 games, he scored 15 goals and had 39 points. Thus, he showed major improvement in just one season, so it's fair to say that he has earned this contract.
With the Kraken very much still building their roster, it makes sense for them to take a shot on Petman. Let's see if the 22-year-old can crack their NHL roster in the near future.
