Lightning Star Expected To Play Game 4

While speaking with reporters, Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said that Nikita Kucherov is expected to be good to go for Game 4.

Kucherov had to leave Game 3 due to an unspecified injury, but it is not expected to take him out of Game 4. This is massive, as the Lightning are heading into the contest with the goal of tying up the series. If they can make it a 2-2 series tie, they will have all the momentum heading back to Colorado for Game 5.

Kucherov is a superstar, and the Lightning absolutely need him in the lineup against the stacked Avalanche. In 20 playoff games, the 29-year-old has seven goals and 26 points.
