NHL Rumors: Canucks Have 4 Untouchables
The Vancouver Canucks are expected to have a very busy offseason. Many players are reportedly available for the taking, but that doesn't mean they will listen to offers for everyone. According to John Shannon, there's no chance that Thatcher Demko, Bo Horvat, Quinn Hughes, and Elias Pettersson get moved this summer.
With this development, it's fair to say that the Canucks view these four as their long-term core. Out of the quartet, Horvat is the only one nearing the completion of his contract, so don't be surprised to see an extension signed this offseason.
Interestingly, big names like J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser are not among the untouchables. Other players such as Tyler Myers, Tanner Pearson, and Conor Garland have been left out, too. Thus, don't be surprised to hear plenty of teams call about them from here.
