NHL Rumors: Canucks Hoping To Land Top-Four Defenseman

On the Donnie & Dhali Show, Thomas Drance and Rick Dhaliwal said that they believe that the Vancouver Canucks will be aiming to acquire a top-four defenseman this offseason.

Drance and Dhaliwal touched upon the fact that Tyler Myers and Oliver Ekman-Larsson were utilized too often during this campaign, and it may benefit both players to change up their roles a bit. Although this is certainly understandable, the Canucks would need to move out salary to have any chance of upgrading on the blue line.

The Canucks are going to be one of the most intriguing teams to watch this summer. Many of their players have entered the rumor mill, but it appears that they are also aiming to be more competitive in 2022-23. Perhaps we will see a roster shakeup on the fly? Alas, time will tell on that front.
