NHL Rumors: Evander Kane Expected to be Suspended for Game 4
Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane will have a hearing on Sunday with the NHL's department of player safety after receiving a major boarding penalty during Game 3 vs. the Colorado Avalanche. Kane sent Avs' forward Nazem Kadri flying head first into the boards after delivering a nasty cross check in the numbers just two feet from the boards.

Kadri has already been ruled out for the remainder of the western conference finals, meanwhile Kane wasn't assessed a game misconduct during Game 3. The Avalanche would end up winning the hockey game as the Oilers are now pushed to the brink of elimination.
Kane has suspended five times in his career for the likes of boarding, cross-checking, elbowing, physical abuse of the officials and violating the COVID-19 protocols.
