I’m told the @NHLFlyers have offered their HC position to John Tortorella. More negotiations required for deal to be completed. @GrittyNHL over to you ! @NHL @StanleyCup #HockeyTwitter pic.twitter.com/ibAi51BoFf
Tortorella comes with a rather large resume behind the bench. In 1,383 games coached between the Lightning, Rangers, Canucks, and Blue Jackets, he has a 673-541-37-132 record. With that, he is a two-time Jack Adams Award winner and led the Lightning to the Stanley Cup in 2004. Now, we will have to wait and see if he builds on his experience behind the Flyers' bench.
Torts in Philadelphia would surely be a fun sight to see.
