NHL Rumors: Jets Defenseman Could Be Moved
According to Eric Duhatschek, the Winnipeg Jets could look to trade Brenden Dillon this offseason.
Duhatschek noted that Dylan Samberg and Ville Heinola are going to eventually need to play full-time NHL minutes, so Winnipeg could part ways with Dillon to free up a spot in their lineup. Furthermore, with the Jets' future looking a bit murky right now, they could be willing to trade Dillon for the right price.
In 79 games this season, Dillon had three goals and 20 points. There's no question that other teams would love to have him because of his size and physical style of play, so let's see if a move comes to fruition.
