NHL Rumors: Kings Linked To Blackhawks Star

According to David Pagnotta, the Los Angeles Kings are interested in Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat.

It is entirely understandable that the Kings are targeting DeBrincat. They just put together an excellent season, and it's clear that their rebuild has reached its completion. Yet, they still need more firepower if they want to go on long playoff runs from here, and DeBrincat would provide them with just that.

The Blackhawks also likely would view the Kings as an ideal trading partner, too. They have a plethora of notable prospects in their system and will likely be willing to trade some due to this. Alas, it will be intriguing to see if these two teams complete a DeBrincat blockbuster this summer.
