NHL Rumors: Surprising Team Linked To Johnny Gaudreau

According to Pierre LeBrun, the Seattle Kraken could be a wild card team to watch in the Johnny Gaudreau sweepstakes this summer.

The Kraken's inaugural season was definitely underwhelming, as they had a 27-49-6 record and were at the bottom of the Pacific Division. Yet, they have a ton of cap space to work with, so they are in a position where they can pursue several top free agents.

The Kraken also lack a true goal scorer on their roster, so it would make sense for them to take a look at Gaudreau. It certainly would be intriguing to see the Kraken land the superstar. Alas, time will tell what happens on that front this summer.
