Panthers Forward Suffers Achilles Injury
Florida Panthers forward Anthony Duclair has suffered an Achilles injury during offseason training that will likely force him to get surgery, according to Pierre LeBrun.
If Duclair gets surgery, he will be out long-term. Therefore, this is simply awful news for both the Panthers and the 26-year-old winger.
Duclair just put together the best season of his eight-year career, as he set new career-highs with 31 goals, 27 assists, and 58 points in 74 games. Replacing that kind of production in the lineup will be hard for the Panthers, so we will have to wait and see how this impacts their offseason moves from here.
