Penguins Forward Done In Pittsburgh
Kasper Bjorkqvist is moving on from the Pittsburgh Penguins, as the 24-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Karpat.
Bjorkqvist appeared in his first six NHL games this season with the Penguins. During them, he scored a goal and sported a minus-1 rating. He primarily played with their AHL squad in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In 54 games with the team, he scored eight goals and had four assists.
Bjorkqvist will now be heading home to Finland. Here's to hoping that he puts together a strong year with Karpat from here.
