Rangers Re-Sign Forward
The New York Rangers have signed Vitali Kravtsov to a one-year, $875,000 contract. It is also a one-way deal.
Kravtsov requested a trade from the Rangers at the start of the 2021-22 season after he was demoted to the Hartford Wolf Pack. From there, he was loaned to Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL for the rest of the year. He put together a solid campaign there, as he recorded 13 points in 19 games.
Now that Kravtsov has signed this deal to return to the Rangers, perhaps we will finally see the 2018 first-round pick become a full-time NHL player. It will be intriguing to see how the youngster performs from here.
