Stars Defenseman Signs Extension

The Dallas Stars have signed Joseph Cecconi to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Cecconi has yet to make his NHL debut with the Stars, but it seems that he is heading in the right direction with his development. The 25-year-old defenseman just put together the best AHL season of his career, as he had one goal to go along with a career-high 15 assists. 

Cecconi could have become a Group VI unrestricted free agent this summer, but he has decided to stay with Dallas instead. Let's see how his 2022-23 campaign goes from here.
