Stars Sign Defenseman To Extension

The Stars have signed Ryan Shea to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Shea spent the entirety of this season with the Texas Stars and looked quite solid in the process. In 66 games, he scored three goals and recorded 32 points. That kind of campaign will get the attention of Dallas, and it will be intriguing to see if he can land a depth spot on their NHL roster next season.

Nevertheless, this is another small but good signing from the Stars.
