2 Sharks Finished In San Jose
According to Sheng Peng, Zachary Sawchenko and Brinson Pasichnuk will not be given qualifying offers from the Sharks. As a result of this, they are set to become unrestricted free agents.
Sawchenko appeared in his seven NHL games this campaign with the Sharks. During them, he sported a 1-2-1 record, 3.35 GAA, and .901 SV%. He struggled with the Barracuda, however, as he sported a rough 4.03 GAA and .877 SV%. With the Sharks having James Reimer, Adin Hill, and Kaapo Kahkonen all under contract, it makes sense that they are moving on from Sawchenko.
Pasichunk, on the other hand, played in just nine games this campaign with the Barracuda. During them, he scored a goal and had four penalty minutes.
