Darren Helm put up seven goals and eight assists, for 15 total points in 68 games last season for Colorado.
The thirty-five year old is known more for his defensive production, and penalty kill effectiveness, more so than his offense. He makes for a cheap depth piece, and will likely see continued time on Colorado's fourth line and penalty kill this upcoming season.
The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed Darren Helm to one-year, $1.25M deal. Helm is solid 4th liner who is above-average at PK. Fair deal for both sides in our eyes. pic.twitter.com/T2uPoytsgY
