Blue Jackets Not Giving These Two Swedish Players Qualifying Offers
The Blue Jackets will not extend qualifying offers to forward Kevin Stenlund and defenseman Gabriel Carlsson, making them unrestricted free agents on July 13th.

Stenlund was a secound-round pick by Columbus in 2015. The twenty-five year old had zero points in three games played this past season. In 71 career NHL games, Stenlund has 11 goals and nine assists for a total of 20 points.
Carlsson was the 29th overall pick of the 2015 Draft by Columbus. In 38 games this past season, the twenty-five year old recorded two goals and nine points. In 75 career NHL games, Carlsson has three goals and 13 assists for a total of 16 points.
