Blue Jackets Re-Sign Forward

The Blue Jackets have signed Carson Meyer to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Meyer appeared in 13 games for Columbus this season. In them, he scored one goal and had two assists. He primarily played with the Monsters, however, where he scored 16 goals and recorded 27 points.

It will be intriguing to see if Meyer can earn himself a permanent spot on the Blue Jackets next season. If not, he will continue to be a decent call-up option when injuries arise.
