Bruins Re-Sign Forward

The Bruins have signed Matt Filipe to a one-year, two-way contract.

Filipe spent this past season with the Providence Bruins. In 59 games with the AHL squad, he scored seven goals and recorded 17 points. Although the Massachusetts native didn't set the world on fire in 2021-22, he has earned another chance from the Bruins.

Filipe will be aiming to impress at training camp in hopes of landing a potential call-up later down the road. Yet, at this juncture, a return to Providence seems more likely.
