Carolina Hurricanes Sign Forward
The Hurricanes have signed Ryan Dzingel to a one-year, two-way contract. At the NHL level, he will carry a $750,000 cap hit.
Dzingel is a familiar face to the Hurricanes, as he played the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons with the team. During this past season, he split time between the Coyotes and Sharks, where he had five goals and eight points in 32 contests.
Dzingel will likely be utilized as a depth forward for the Hurricanes. However, if he can find his previous form, he could work well on their third line. Either way, this is a good low-risk signing for the Hurricanes.
