Columbus Blue Jackets Re-Sign Forward
The Blue Jackets are staying busy, as they now have re-signed Trey Fix-Wolansky to a one-year, two-way contract.
Fix-Wolansky appeared in his first six NHL games this past season with Columbus, where he scored a goal and added an assist. He was also effective with the Monsters, as he had 15 goals and 18 assists in 53 games. He will now be aiming to translate that kind of production to the NHL next season.
Fix-Wolansky is a player to watch as we get closer to training camp. He could earn himself a spot in Columbus' bottom six for the 2022-23 season. If not, he will continue to work on his development down in Cleveland.
