Coyotes Sign Defenseman
The Coyotes have signed Lukas Klok to a one-year, two-way contract.
Klok spent this past season with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the KHL and had himself a very solid year. In 44 games, the 27-year-old defenseman scored five goals and recorded 31 points. Now, he will be aiming to translate that kind of offensive success from the point to the NHL.
With the Coyotes possessing an immensely weak roster, it could open the door to Klok making their NHL squad this fall. Time will tell on that front, but at a minimum, the Coyotes have at least added to their defensive depth.
