The twenty-three year old played 56 games for the Devils this past season, scoring 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 total points. In another seven games played for the Utica Comets of the AHL, Boqvist scored two goals and six assists.
Boqvist was a solid secondary offensive player for the Devils last season. He'll have a chance to make the Devils' roster this fall but, with the lot of decent depth players the team has, he might have a hard time of it.
