Ducks Sign Top Prospect
The Ducks have signed Pavel Mintyukov to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Mintyukov was just selected 10th overall by the Ducks' in this year's entry draft. This was after the 18-year-old defenseman recorded a 62-point campaign in 67 games for the Saginaw Spirit. It was a very good year for the 6-foot-1 d-man, who is viewed as having a bright future.
Mintyukov will be competing for a spot on the Ducks' NHL roster this upcoming season. Yet, it wouldn't be bad for him to play another year in juniors. Either way, Anaheim fans should be excited to see that they have signed him to his ELC.
