Flames Sign Two Players; Re-Sign Two More
The Flames have signed defensemen Dennis Gilbert, Nick DeSimone, Colton Poolman and forward Clark Bishop.
Forward Clark Bishop receives a one-year, two-way deal worth $750K. The twenty-six year old played nine games for the Senators this past season, putting up just one assist. In 35 games for Belleville, Bishop scored six goals and six assists for 12 total points.Calgary #Flames signings:

Defenseman Dennis Gilbert receives a two-year deal worth $762.5K annually. The twenty-five year old played 52 games for the Colorado Eagles this past season, scoring six goals and 17 assists.
Defenseman Nick DeSimone re-signs a two-year, two-way deal worth $762.5K annually. The twenty-seven year old put together a solid season for the Stockton Heat in 2021-22, scoring four goals and 21 assists, to go along with a plus/minus rating of 10. In 13 playoff games, he scored two goals and three assists.
Defenseman Colton Poolman re-signs a one-year, two-way deal worth $750K ($90K AHL). The twenty-six year old appeared in 62 games for the Stockton Heat this past season, scoring zero goals and 13 assists. He also registered a very good plus/minus rating of 17.
These are good depth signings and could be solid defensive options for the Flames this season.
