Flyers & Red Wings Talking Trade

According to The Fourth Period, the Flyers are currently linked to Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi is set to enter the final year of his contract and will be eligible for unrestricted free agency next summer. As a result of this, the Red Wings could look to move the 27-year-old before the start of the regular season. Keep in mind, this isn't the first time Bertuzzi's name has come up in the rumor mill, either.

Bertuzzi's gritty style of play would make him a solid fit in Philadelphia's lineup. He also would give them another top-six forward, and the truth is in his stats. In 68 games this season, he scored 30 goals and recorded 62 points.
