Jets Sign Forward

The Jets have signed Alex Limoges to a one-year, entry-level contract.

Limoges has spent each of the last two seasons with the San Diego Gulls in the AHL. During that span, he had success, as he recorded 61 points in 85 games. With these numbers, it makes sense that the Jets have decided to give him his first real NHL contract.

Limoges will provide the Jets with more forward depth at a minimum. However, if he impresses at camp, perhaps he could even make their NHL roster for the start of the season. Time will tell on that front.
