Kraken Re-Sign Defenseman

Gustav Olofsson is staying with the Kraken, as he has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Olofsson did not appear in a game for the Kraken this campaign but proved to be valuable for their AHL squad. In 41 games as an alternate captain for the Checkers, he had two goals to go along with nine points.

Olofsson will continue to be a potential call-up for the Kraken next season. In 59 career NHL games, he has 11 assists and a minus-5 rating.
