Kraken Re-Sign Forward

The Kraken have re-signed Alexander True to a one-year, two-way contract extension. At the NHL level, he will carry a $750,000 cap hit. 

True was selected by the Kraken in last summer's expansion draft. He appeared in eight games for Seattle this campaign but failed to record a point. With the Charlotte Checkers, he scored 18 goals and recorded 42 points.

True will be competing for a spot in Seattle's bottom-six next season. The 6-foot-5 center certainly has the potential to be an NHL regular, so let's see if that comes to fruition in 2022-23.
