Tampa Bay Lightning Sign Forward
The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Lucas Edmonds to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Edmonds was selected with the 86th overall pick of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He spent this past season with the Kingston Frontenacs, where he had 34 goals and recorded 113 points in 68 games. It was an excellent season for him, but it's also important to note that he is 21 years old. Thus, he was playing against younger competition in juniors.
Edmonds is no longer eligible to play in juniors, so we should expect to see him with the Syracuse Crunch next season. Let's see how he performs during his professional debut.
