Montreal Re-Signs Three Forwards
The Montreal Canadiens have re-signed forwards Alex Belzile, Joel Teasdale and Nate Schnarr to one-year two-way contracts for the 2022-23 season.

Belzile played 11 games with Montreal this past season, posting zero points in 11 games. In Laval, Montreal's AHL affiliate team, he put up 10 goals, 12 assists, for 22 points in 32 games.
Teasdale spent his entire 2021-22 season in Laval, scoring 15 goals, 13 asssists, for 28 points in 44 games played. In 15 playoff games, the twenty-three year old scored one goal and one assist.
Schnarr played with the Utica Comets for half of 2021-22 season before being traded to the Laval Rockets. In 43 games played for Utica, Schnarr scored 13 goals and 13 assists. In 20 games played for Montreal's AHL affiliate, the twenty-three year old scored four goals and six assists for 10 points.
