NHL Rumors: Bruins Linked To Canucks Winger

According to The Fourth Period, the Bruins are one of the teams currently linked to Canucks forward Conor Garland.

This isn't the first time where the Bruins have expressed interest in Garland. There were reportedly in on him when the Coyotes were shopping him last summer. Furthermore, they were linked to him when Garland's name hit the rumor mill again this season as a Canuck. The Bruins clearly want to bring the Massachusetts native home if possible.

For a Garland trade to happen, the Bruins would need to send salary back the other way. At this juncture, they have only just over $2.3 million of cap space and also need to re-sign Patrice Bergeron.

It will be intriguing to see if GM Don Sweeney can get creative to bring Garland in.
