NHL Rumors: Kings To Pursue Predators Star

The Kings recently made a big splash by adding Kevin Fiala, but they may not be done adding high-impact forwards. According to Elliotte Friedman, the Kings are expected to remain in the Filip Forsberg sweepstakes.

Forsberg has yet to sign an extension with the Predators, and with free agency beginning in less than two weeks, there's a real chance that he will be hitting the market. If he does, don't be surprised to see LA go all in for the star. They are coming off of a very good 2021-22 season and are looking to keep this momentum going. 

In 63 games this season, Forsberg scored 42 goals and recorded 84 points. Adding that kind of offense to the top six would be massive for the Kings. It also doesn't hurt that Forsberg is good friends with Viktor Arvidsson, too.
