NHL Rumors: Kraken Linked To Winger

According to Elliotte Friedman, pending UFA Andre Burakovsky would "make a lot of sense" for the Kraken.

The Kraken are expected to be major spenders this free agency period. After playing the conservative route during their inaugural season, GM Ron Francis is ready to make some big news and have been linked to several big-name free agents as a result of this. Now, Burakovsky appears to be another forward on their radar.

Burakovsky would be a very solid addition to the Kraken's top six. During this past season, he svored 22 goals and recorded 61 points. Adding a player who can produce that frequently is certainly needed for the Kraken, so let's see if they end up landing the 27-year-old from here.
