NHL Rumors: Maple Leafs Targeting Hurricanes Forward

According to The Fourth Period, the Maple Leafs are linked to pending UFA Max Domi.

It feels inevitable that Domi will become a Leaf at some point during his career. His father, Tie, is of course well-known for his tenure as the Maple Leafs' primary enforcer. Although Max doesn't play as tenaciously as his father, he would still be a solid addition to the team's middle six.

It will be intriguing to see if the Leafs end up landing Domi this offseason. He could be a decent replacement for Ilya Mikheyev, as the latter is expected to test the market. Alas, we will have to wait and see what happens with Domi from here.
