NHL Rumors: Senators And Oilers Talking Trade
According to Darren Dreger, the Oilers and Senators have been engaging in trade talks centering around Connor Brown.
Senators GM, Pierre Dorion is working it. Sounds like activity around veteran forward, Connor Brown has intensified. The Oilers are among a few times still in the mix there.

Dreger noted that other teams are in the mix as well, but it is intriguing that he specifically mentioned the Oilers as one of them. Edmonton recently freed up a bunch of cap space due to them trading Zack Kassian and Duncan Keith retiring. Thus, they are in a position to bring in talent, and Brown would be a nice addition.
Brown would be a solid addition to the Oilers' top six. In 64 games this past season, he scored 10 goals and recorded 39 points. With that, he also was an important part of both their power play and penalty kill. Overall, he is a player who can do a bit of everything. Let's see if the Oilers win the Brown sweepstakes from here.
