NHL Rumors: Sharks Forward To Be Traded

According to Elliotte Friedman, the Sharks could trade Kevin Labanc this offseason.

This isn't the first time that Labanc's name has come up in the rumor mill. The 26-year-old winger is coming off of a down year, as he had only three goals and three assists in 21 games played. With his injury trouble and drop in production, it's hard to believe that his trade value is too high. This is especially true when noting that he carries a $4.725 million cap hit until the end of the 2023-24 season.

It will be interesting to see if another team will take a chance on Lebanc from here. He is a bounce-back candidate for the 2022-23 season.
