Predators Sign 3 Forwards
The Predators have added to their forward depth, as they have signed Kiefer Sherwood, Mark Jankowski, and Cole Smith for the 2022-23 season.
Out of the trio, Sherwood's is the only one-way deal. The 27-year-old spent this past season with the Avalanche, where he had a goal and an assist in 11 games. With their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles, he scored 36 goals and recorded 75 points in just 57 games. Let's see if Nashville gives him a shot in the NHL because of it.
Jankowski played in 19 games with the Sabres this past campaign, where he scored two goals and had five points. He primarily was with the Rochester Americans, however. In 32 games with the AHL squad, he scored 10 goals and had 27 points.
Smith played eight games for the Predators this year but failed to get on the scoresheet. He also put together a 41-point campaign in 59 games with the Admirals.
