Rangers Sign Winger
The Rangers have signed Turner Elson to a two-year, two-way contract.
Before this past campaign, Elson did not play in an NHL game since the 2015-16 season with the Flames. However, that all changed when he played in two contests for the Red Wings this campaign. Now, with the Rangers, he will be hoping to land himself on their NHL roster to start the season.
Elson put together a strong year with the Grand Rapids Griffins, as he set new career highs with 21 goals, 24 assists, and 45 points. Even if he is primarily a depth forward for the Blueshirts, he isn't a bad call-up option to have. Let's see how the 29-year-old performs from here.
