Sabres Re-Sign Defenseman
The Sabres have signed Jacob Bryson to a two-year, $3.7 million contract extension.
Bryson cemented himself as a full-time NHL defenseman this year and has earned this solid extension as a result of it. In 73 games on the year, he scored one goal and had 10 points. Overall, it was a fairly solid year for the 24-year-old, and he will be looking to keep this momentum going heading into 2022-23.
As Bryson continues to get experience at the NHL level, it will be intriguing to see if his role with the Sabres increases. In 111 career games, the London, Ontario native has two goals, 17 assists, and 19 points.
