Sabres Re-Sign Forward
The Sabres have re-signed Brett Murray to a one-year, $750,000 contract.
Murray played in a career-high 19 games for the Sabres this past season, where he had two goals and four assists. With that, he also racked up 23 penalty minutes, so it's fair to say he played a physical game. Heading into 2022-23, he will be aiming to become a full-time part of their bottom six.
Murray put together a pretty solid year with the Rochester Americans, too. In 52 games, the 6-foot-5 winger scored 15 goals and recorded 32 points. It will be intriguing to see what the 23-year-old does next season - whether he's playing in Buffalo or Rochester.
