Sabres Re-Sign Goaltender
The Sabres have signed goaltender and national anthem singer Malcolm Subban to a one-year, two-way contract.
Subban appeared in four games for the Sabres this season, where he sported a 0-2-1 record and .871 SV%. He will continue to be a solid depth option for Buffalo in net.
Subban, a 2012 first-round pick, has appeared in 86 career games between the Bruins, Golden Knights, Blackhawks, and Sabres. Over that span, he has a 36-33-9 record, 3.10 GAA, and .898 SV%. It will be intriguing to see how much these numbers change in 2022-23.
