Sabres Sign Forward To Extension
The Sabres have signed Vinnie Hinostroza to a one-year, $1.7 million contract.
Hinostroza turned out to be a good addition by the Sabres this past season, so it makes sense that they have elected to keep him around. In 62 games on the year, he scored 13 goals and recorded 25 points. With numbers like these, it's fair to say that he provided them with decent secondary scoring when called upon.
Hinostroza has the ability to be a solid contributor, so it's nice to see that Buffalo has signed him once again to an affordable cap hit. In 334 career games, the Chicago native has 51 goals, 86 assists, and 137 points.
